General Job Responsibilities:

All staff members are responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all children and families.

All staff will be trained to open and close the center – check lists are available and posted.
-
Staff members are required to work different shifts in order to keep the center running smoothly. Therefore, hours worked are not set as permanent shifts and when needed, employees will have to change hours.

Staff may be asked to perform other jobs such as help in the office, kitchen duty, janitorial duties and other tasks needed under the direction of the Director.

All staff are required to know the Emergency and Fire Safety procedures for the center.

All employees are required to read and adhere to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Code Manual (Title 55. Public Welfare), that is posted in each classroom.

Staff Requirements:

Diploma/GED/College Certificates/Degree Transcripts

Criminal/Child Abuse Clearance
-
FBI Finger Prints & State Police Clearance
-
National Sex Offender Registry Verification Clearance
-
Physicals which include TB Test every two years and results are to be kept on file

Disclosure Statement/Confidentiality Statement & Statement of Conduct
-
First Aid and CPR Training Every 2 years
-
Annual Fire Safety Course and Emergency Procedure
-
Six credit hours of training every year or more if the facility is a Keystone Stare Site and falls under Keystone Guidelines to stay in compliance
